Terms and Conditions

These terms relate to items/services supplied to you from Go-Tow Ltd and are in conjunction with the Manufacturers Terms of Use and our retail guarantee https://go-tow.co.uk/retail-guarantee which shall also apply

1. Terms of Payment

1.1 Your order is an offer to buy from us. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually order the goods in to stock. At the moment that the goods are ordered, a contract will be made between you and us, and you will be liable for the cost to Go-Tow Ltd for the goods.

1.2 The prices payable for the items/service that you order will be clearly set out/given to you prior to confirming your booking. If we discover any errors in the price of goods before/after we accept your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to resubmit your order at the correct price or cancel the order.

1.3 All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated.

1.4 Payment can only be by made by credit/debit card/amex and the credit/ debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. The card and cardholder must be present to complete payment at the time of he arranged fitting.

2. Availability

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you except to ensure that you are not charged for that item.

3. Appointments

3.1 Fitting appointments will be made to the address specified by you on the completed order form, unless arranged to be complated at our workshop in Corby.

3.2 Fitting/Service times will be agreed with you at the time of placing your order. Whilst we make every effort to arrive/complete the job in the agreed time, we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control.

3.3 Claims for damage shall be notified to us whilst the fitter is still present, claims will not be processed if payment for the services has not been made in full prior to the fitter leaving your appointment.

3.4 Go-Tow Ltd will not be liable for any damage caused beyond our control, such as damage caused by third parties, whilst working in extreme weather conditions, whilst working without sufficient safe space or any damage caused by previously poor repaired items, repainted/repaired bodywork/trim, or any minor damage caused under 5cm. Go-Tow Ltd will not be liable for any claims against existing damage on your vehicle.

4. Cancelling your order

4.1 You will be responsible for the cost of returning any item to our supplier should you wish to cancel your booking

4.2 When booking a towbar fitting service via Go-Tow ltd, Go-Tow ltd will reserve the right to impose a handling charge should the towbar not be suitable due to conversions made to the vehicle. This includes but is not limited to chassis extensions, bumper conversions, van conversions to motorhomes or other special use vehicles. A £75 handling charge will be payable by you the customer on the day/time of the scheduled appointment, should we find the vehicle structurally unsafe to fit the towbar due to corrosion or accident damage a £75 fee will be payable by you the customer to cover labour, travel costs and return fees.

4.3 When ordering a towbar fitting service from Go-Tow Ltd, Go-Tow Ltd will reserve the right to impose a handling charge should the fitting appointment be missed or cancelled by you. A £50.00 handling charge will charged and payable within 5 days of the scheduled booking.

5. Force Majeure

5.1 Notwithstanding anything herein contained we are not to be held liable for any delay or failure to carry out the order through circumstances beyond our control.

5.2 Especially, but not exclusively, in the case of towbar fitting services that have been booked through Go-Tow Ltd circumstances beyond our control include but are not limited to software errors provided by third parties, delayed or faulty deliveries by third party suppliers or courier companies, or uninspected deliveries by our suppliers leading to a delayed or postponed fitting. Go-Tow Ltd will not be able to accept liability or responsibility for personal time and money lost due to reasons beyond our control and requests for compensation of this nature cannot be approved.

5.3 In the case of any concerns with the towbar fitting carried out on a vehicle booked through Go-Tow Ltd the customer needs to, in the first instance, contact us we will endeavour to resolve any issues with the support of the Technical Support Team. Go-Tow Ltd are unable to accept any liability or responsibility for claims submitted without prior authorisation by Go-Tow Ltd.

6. Mobile Fitting

6.1 You must ensure the fitting location specified has safe, well lit off-road parking for your vehicle to ensure the fitter can complete the job in a safe environment. A parking area within close proximity must be available for the fitters vehicle so he/she can have safe and easy access to the items required for the fitting. Please be aware that the fitters won't hold any type of permit to park in restricted parking areas and any parking fees that the fitter may incur will be covered in full by you the customer. 

6.2 In the case of extreme weather conditions, Go-Tow Ltd will reserve the right to postpone the fitting if the fitter does not have a suitable and safe environment in order to conduct the fitting.

7. Applicable law

These Conditions are made pursuant to and shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of English Courts shall have jurisdiction.
